Meet Our Principals

Mrs. Laura Koehn (pronounced “Cane”) is the proud principal at Deer Creek Elementary. She comes from a long line of educators, and has worked in education for more than twenty years. Mrs. Koehn holds a bachelor's degree in Chemical Dependency and a master's degree in Educational Leadership. Prior to her time in administration, Mrs. Koehn taught Pre-K and kindergarten. After receiving her principal’s certification in 2003, she served as an assistant principal for five years before becoming the principal of Deer Creek Elementary School in the 2017-2018 school year. 

Mrs. Koehn is married to her husband Chris, and they have three beautiful children. Mrs. Koehn loves being their mom and enjoy participating in their school and extracurricular activities.

Mrs. Stacy McCall is the wonderful assistant principal at Deer Creek Elementary. Mrs. McCall taught twelve years in elementary classrooms, and two years in middle school prior to becoming an administrator. She received her bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special Education and her master's degree in Educational Leadership. Mrs. McCall is married, and she and her husband have three children. In her spare time, she loves to travel and support her children in all of their activities.
